Mionix Naos 5000
Conclusion
The features, specifications, appearance and overall package of the Mionix Naos 5000 is really top class encompassing everything that a good gaming mouse needs and then some. The customisation is on a par with the CM Storm Sentinel Advance with a very similar vast array of settings and profiles that make both mice extremely functional and easy to use.
The ability to use the Naos as both a simple plug & play mouse and a much more advanced customisable peripheral is another clever feature; little touches too such as the LEDs to distinguish between dpi settings and the very smooth scroll wheel set this mouse apart.
The only other mouse that can compete in terms of the extent of the features, performance and speed is the Sentinel. It’s very difficult to choose between the two.
However, one thing decides it – the price. £70 or £45? The choice is obvious and it is this that makes the CM Storm offering a much more attractive purchase.
Let’s just hope that the launch price drops significantly as the mouse, price aside, is very good indeed.
