Genius Luxemate 525

Packaging

The Luxemate comes in a cardboard box a little bit bigger than the keyboard itself (understandable and expected). The front is plastered in game images with the star cruiser seemingly at the heart of it all. There are also 2 shields with “26 programmable gaming hotkeys” and “64kb on board memory” written in them. This all looks very good and would encourage a sale as the keyboard looks as if it’s functional for both gaming and everyday computer use.

The back of the packaging has features written in 23 languages and an explanation of the different aspects of the keyboard (e.g. the gaming keypad, the multimedia buttons etc). This all explained a lot but does leave a very wordy, boring looking back to the packaging.

Having said that the packaging did perform its main role of keeping the product safe because it came to me without a scratch, as did the manual and software included.
