The box for the Proporta Charger is quite fancy. It’s got got a blue and black covered background, with a plastic slieve with a translucent image of a map over it. You get it, because the charger is universal?

The back has a small specifications list, and the superimposed plastic slieve finishes off the USA and Canada, and displays line drawings of all the different connectors the charger sports.

Speaking of chargers; I told you there was a lot of them. Bundled with the Porporta charger itself are the following: cigarette lighter charger, mains charger with US, EU, UK – and something else – power converters, zip lead USB to 3mm converter, and then a 3mm to every-device-possible converter. The proporta can charge to any of the following: Nokia Slim, Sony Ericsson, iPod, Micro USB, Samsung and PSP.

The car charger allows for 2 x USB connectors, which would let you plug the Proporta charger into it, and another USB device, I guess.

For the mains charger, it features a great “universal” interface. The plug part is completely interchangeable, allowing you to plug in and unplug different connectors depending on what part of the world you are in.

To “unplug” the power plug part you currently have in place, you press down a small button underneath it, and it pops off easily enough.
