NZXT Sentry LX

Packaging

The product came in a simple cardboard box with a flip open lid. The picture on the front gives a good view of the product at an angle, which is a little misleading as I’ll talk about later. The front also features some of the features associated with the LX in the top right corner. I’ve managed to use most of these features although the Celsius-Fahrenheit switching is still a mystery to me.

The back of the packaging gives us a blurb about the product – which helps when choosing it – and also gives a detailed specification list. As far as packaging inside the box goes the LX is held in bits of Styrofoam so none of it is touching the outside of the packaging. The box contains the Sentry LX, an instruction manual, some stickers, spare temperature sensors and a battery to keep the memory running

The Sentry LX came to me with no major damage but the screen did carry a few scratches which made me worry about the strength of the screen when it comes to moving my computer around for LAN parties and such, if it gets that scratched in a box what’s my house going to do to it?
