Maximus Porty

Conclusion

When seeing the name of the product, Porty Speaker, it reminded me of the name ‘Porta Potty’ and the test results cement that link. With 1.5W RMS the sound was never going to be fantastic, but the wholly unacceptable distortion and breaking up at anything even remotely nearing loudness make this a very limited product. The build quality and reasonably good looks of the product marginally scrapes it in at 4 out of 10, otherwise on sound alone it would be more like 2 out of 10. Even with the low price of £10, it’s still not worth the money.
