MSI P45 Platinum
Conclusion
The MSI P45 Platinum is a nice piece of kit. It’s not perfect by a long stretch, but it covers all the bases fairly well. It’s got a whole host of connectors, an efficient, and funky looking cooling system, onboard power switches, decent overclocking ability and a reasonable bundle of bits. On the downside, it’s overclocking is limited to a point; though it goes far enough for most mid-range enthusiasts. Those who want more from an OC board will probably be willing to pay for the higher end models that will most likely have an improved overclocking ability.
When it comes down to it, the MSI P45 Platinum is a damn good fit for it’s price bracket, and if you can snap one up at the rare mid 90s pricing, you’ve got yourself a damn good deal. If you want more from your board though, be prepared to look at mobos with a slightly higher price tag.
