ATI HD 5770 Review

Introduction

With each new generation of GPUs comes a slew of reviews as writers and analysts around the world scramble to see what those few extra frames per second will look like; god damn we’re nerds aren’t we? Still, here we are once again taking a peak at the latest offerings from AMD, the 6 series. Due to a naming convention change ala nVidia, AMD have chosen to name this card the 6850, despite it really having 67xx performance; or at least that’s what we’re expecting.

While this is a bit of a pain, in reality we know better. This is the new generation of 57xx cards, so what better to compare it to than it’s last generation counterpart?
