Box n’ Bundle
The 4870 X2 packaging is almost identical to that of the 4850 reviewed previously. The new Lara Croft-esque Sapphire model is posing with her pistol on the front, and she’s sandwiched between some abstract red, swirley, stuff. This is edged with a grill pattern that’s covered in feature stickers showing off "X2 Dual VPU Power", "2GB GDDR3" and "Ruby Rom Inside."
The back has another, smaller picture of the Lara model, with a few feature buttons and some prose on the card itself on the right hand side. Along the bottom is a list of awards Sapphire have received over the last few years for their products.
Along with the card itself, you also receive a 6pin to molex converter, an SVideo to component converter, manual, PowerDVD software, a full version of 3Dmark Vantage, DVI to VGA converter, a Crossfire bridge and the "Ruby Rom" DVD which features drivers, bits of useful software and select games. However, let it be known that although it appears that it contains full games, this isn’t true; they’re simply demos.
