Results

As you can see the Galaxy 8600GT outstrips the MSI card at stock and overclocked states in all tests. However, interestingly enough the x1950 Pro performs better in games than all cards tested but in the 3Dmark tests, it was beaten at the post by both MSI and Galaxy cards when they were overclocked except for in 3Dmark03. From these results we can conclude that budget gaming is probably best on an x1950 Pro, but you’ll come out on top of synthetic benchmarks more often with the 8600s.
