Results
From these results it is possible to see that the PWM cooler from Zalman Outperforms the Sunbeamtech under load conditions, but interestingly loses out by a degree or 2 when under an idle state.
Noise
The idea that this cooler could be almost silent appears to be a foolish one. When PWM is enabled, the fan reacts to the slightest fluctuations in temperature sending the RPM spiraling out of control, and noise levels through the roof. Under PWM control this thing sounds like a motorbike.
Cost
At around £30 this cooler isn’t too badly priced for such a well performing and good looking cooler, though it’s hardly at the cheap end of the CPU cooler spectrum.
