Sytrin KuForumla VF1 Plus Cooler
Bits and Box
The Sytrin Kurformula VF1 Plus’ box is bright and colourful and features a large picture of the product on the front. There is also the phrase “Build your own cooling” which you’d be forgiven for believing was a bad translation. However, it does in fact make sense since this cooler allows you to customise it slightly; you can use the supplied coaxial fan or you can fit anything upto a 120mm fan on the supplier extension bracket.

The back of the box shows off the coolers specifications and its feature list.
Inside the box the heatsink, fan and other bits are packed tightly in place by the solid packing foam.

After being set free from their foamy packaging, all the little bits and bobs you get with the cooler are revealed:

In this little bundle you get:
1:The heatsink and coaxial fan
2: Mouting clip and back plate mouting platform
3: Ram Sinks
4: Mounting Screws
5: Manual
The manual is clear and concise and gives nicely detailed instructions on how to install the cooler

The back plate mounting platform is designed to hold the coaxial fan in its ideal position above the heatsink. By using this kind of system a backing plate is used up and any slots beneath it will be useless. However, this method does mean that there is no extra weight on your graphics card and it means that should the fan prove too noisy for your taste, you can simply remove the mounting platform without having to take apart your GPU. This rear plate is also where the fan speed controller can be found. Although this could be a bit annoying having to reach behind your case to change fan speed, it’s not something that you do too often, so this is not a big issue.

The mouting plate connects to the mouting platform and holds the coaxial fan in place above the heatsink. This places the fan in the optimum position to draw as much air as possible across the fins of the heatsink.
