These are very interesting results, the stock Intel Cooler actually performed better than the Spire. However the results seem to very close (1 to 2 degrees difference) so they pretty much perform about the same. Still… sort of defeats the point of an aftermarket cooler doesn’t it?
Noise
In regards to noise, the Spire was about the same noise level as my stock Intel cooler, maybe slightly quieter – but not by much. I’ve definitely witnessed much quieter coolers.
Cost
The Spire CoolFlow retails at £10. This isn’t a lot of money and bearing in mind the poor performance, this price is pretty much right.
