Silverstone Nitrogon NT06 CPU Cooler

Conclusion

Lets get this out of the way first, the NT06 is a very, very nice looking cooler. It does not rely on LED’s or bright colours to look good, it does it simply and stylishly with the silver of the fins and the black of the surround contrasting brilliantly. The cooling performance of the NT06 is also very good, with low temperatures in both idle and load states. The only bad points of this cooler are the noise levels and the cost. These down points may put off those that like a quiet PC, and those that can’t afford such outlays on CPU coolers, but those that like very good performance and a stylish looking cooler, would be making a good move, if they purchased the Silverstone Nitrogon NT06.

Pros Cons
Stylish and sexy Very loud at 100% power
Good cooling performance Quite expensive

I’d like to thank our sponsors Silverstone for providing us with the cooler.

For a company that has only been around for 3 years or so, Silverstone has certainly made an impressive impact on many areas of the PC hardware market. Today I am testing their Nitrogon NT06 CPU cooler. Let's see what impact it makes on the CPU HSF market.
