The ezFan is very simple in its design; the silver and black outer casing encloses a small seven-bladed fan. It doesn’t look particularly attractive but it’s hardly an eye sore; more functional than stylish I would say.

The fan spins at between 1400 and 2500 RPM, the speed set with the sliding dial on the right-hand side, and can be directed at different angles as the cooler is able to bend without the base moving.

The base also folds up making the ezFan a little more compact which could be useful when transporting and the USB cable tucks into the back. It also has four small rubber feet on the bottom to stop it sliding around too much.

In terms of cable length we aren’t talking a great length but it is extendable allowing the user to set the correct length without having a great deal of excess which just gets in the way.

The cooler has dimensions of 126.3 x 104.6 x 29.6 mm making it much smaller than most notebook coolers which tend to sit directly underneath to cool the internal components.

Hooking it up to a laptop is easy; just insert the USB cable into a port. The advantage of having the cooler as an external one is that is also cools your hands preventing them from becoming sweaty and making your keyboard and mouse slimy too.
