Evercool Rifling

Conclusion

The Evercool Rifling fan is an odd product. It performed pretty well being on par with a performance 92mm fan and it even worked at a very low noise level.

However it is laden with design faults. The first being the gaps in the fans frame, these strangely exhaust hot air and dust – not many of us want heat re-entering our case. Also, the quality of the frame could definitely be improved upon. It’s very flimsy and the actual impeller wobbles on the motor because it’s not tight enough.

Furthermore, there’s a reasonably large gap between the fan blade and the frame. If this gap was closed in slightly more, the airflow would improve dramatically.

Altogether I think the Evercool Rifling Fan is a good innovative product, some design flaws stop it from being really good. If these were sorted out, I think we’d have a winner here.

Pros Cons
Aesthetically Pleasing Exhausts Hot Air Back into the Case
Silent Airflow could be improved
