Installation

Installation proved to be exceptionally easy even though motherboard removal is guaranteed as a back plate has to be installed; this is the same for both the Intel and AMD versions. The back plate simply slots through the motherboard so while it may take time to remove your mobo from your case, the actual act of attaching the cooler to the back plate is very simple.

Once that is completed, the heatsink is placed onto it and the whole thing is screwed together using a bracket which is placed in between the heatpipes and heatsink (quite fiddly to get this bracket in place).

Finally, all that remains is to screw the plastic cover onto the heatsink and the cooler is securely installed.
