Arctic Cooling Fans
Box and Bundle
The packaging is almost entirely the same for all the fans, except for the title and size, apart from the Pro TC (temperature controlled) fan which displays a proud image of the fan on the front as well as evidently being more stylish. Therefore, for the purposes of the review we will only be comparing the 12L model to the Pro TC model up until testing.
The 12L fan’s packaging is fairly basic with little thought going in to the design or style. The front is completely black; broken up only by the white Arctic Cooling logo and the fan’s name.
Flipping the box over reveals a basic diagram of three fans – the rear, front and CPU cooler; however this appears to just be a ‘space-filler’ with little helpful value. The sides are home to the most informative parts of the packaging as they display the features, installation diagrams and technical specifications.
Differently, much more of an effort has been made with the Pro TC’s packaging. Firstly, the front is much more eye-catching; it depicts three images of the fan in descending size as well as having more colour (albeit still shades of white, black and grey) to liven-up the otherwise dull, black areas.
The only other difference is the back which displays a graph comparing the rpm to temperature.
Accompanying all of the fans were very few accessories. The select few included 4 screws (for installation purposes) and an Arctic Cooling sticker.
