Noise Levels

While performance is obviously important to many WC users, one of the other reasons that enthusiasts choose to go down the water cooled route is noise levels. Standard air coolers can be very effective, but as their fans spin up they become much louder. Water cooling doesn’t need a fast spinning fan as the radiators tend to have much larger surface areas than air coolers, and are also usually able to implement a bigger fan. So how loud is the Serac 770? In one word; silent. Yep that’s right the pump is silent and so is the fan. Fair enough when you power down the pump does make an audible beeping noise to tell you the pump has shutdown but I don’t think that that really counts with regards to noise levels.

Cost

Unfortunately I have been completely incapable of finding a price for this kit, so unfortunately those that want one are going to find it difficult to purchase. If anyone knows where this kit can be bought, and for how much, please let us know.
