AMA Serac 770

Box ‘n’ bundle

The packaging for the Serac 770 is pretty impressive, the box is well styled and has a slightly metallic veneer to it. The front of the box has two windows, which show the radiator and the CPU block. The rear has a large photo of the kit hooked up to a motherboard, which looks like the Asus Striker II Extreme which features a “fusion” block, though unfortunately AMA haven’t shown whether the system can be used for more the just the CPU by hooking it all up.

Once inside the box you’ll find two smaller packages within the main container. One is a large Styrofoam casing which holds the radiator and the CPU block still and the other is a box that contains the mounting kits, pump/tank, tubings, and a bottle of coolant.

Of the little experience I have had in the past with water-cooling I have found that it is unusual to receive the coolant in the package with the kit. Usually you tend to receive just an additive which you need to add to some De-ionised water. .
