Thermaltake Element G

Box & Bundle

The packaging looks good, if not overly complicated, with the case illuminated by the red LED fans and red strips which contrast well with the black background. The Thermaltake logo is obviously proudly displayed at the top as well as the one saying “Create for Pros”. Missing a D there I think.

The back has much more going on with many of the key features described along with numerous images on both the internal and external structures. Of course, the five different colour modes of the LED fans are given a special mention with a separate caption for each setting.

The specifications are found on the side panel with countless translations and logos below not to mention the “Five Gs” on the opposite side. These five words, in Thermaltake’s opinion, sum the case up pretty well: gaming, glittering, gradational, gigantic and glaciated – impressive thesaurus work indeed!

In most instances, the chassis is packaged inside a plastic bag between two Styrofoam ends; Thermaltake have gone one better by using a thicker, blue cloth bag to protect the Element G.

For the most part, the accessories are organised into separate bags and then stored inside a small cardboard box:

  • Motherboard Standoffs
  • Screws (assorted)
  • Keyboard & Mouse Security Lock
  • Cable Ties
  • 2 x 120mm Fan Holders

The fan holders are a good inclusion allowing additional 120mm fans to be installed inside the case in order to increase the cooling effect achieved by the case fans.
