NZXT Alpha

Conclusion

The NZXT Alpha is a fantastic budget case, with most considering the £40 price tag only stretching to a beige case with the right holes for your drives. The Alpha goes much further than this, with its tool-less drive mounts, quiet cooling and impressive presence thanks to the illuminating front panel and side window.

While this case isn’t without it’s faults – such as the unusable front fan mount, tight GTX compatibility, and blinding HDD LED – but it does for the most part do what it says for a price that many would consider cheap.

If you are on a budget, and you budget more for your components than what they are held in, get the windowed NZXT Alpha and you’ll be happy.

Pros Cons
Inexpensive Some quality control issues
Better-than-beige aesthetics Front fan spot unusable
Tool-less design Ridiculously bright HDD LED
