The GMC R-4 Bulldozer
The case is completely white which, from a photographer’s point of view, is an absolute nightmare – apologies for lack of quality photos.
The first thing that draws your attention is obviously the uniquely styled front panel design with the vertically mounted ODD. The opening for this has two steel rods which I personally think look like hydraulic rams but are supposed to look like shock absorbers or suspension on a vehicle.
Below the ODD, there is a black grill beneath which a blue LED fan is situated; powering this up causes it to emit blue light through the vent.
Finally, at the bottom is the power (this too glows blue upon powering up) and reset buttons along with the ports:
- 2 x 2.0 USB
- 1 x Microphone Jack
- 1 x Headphone Jack
There is also one more feature on the front and this is a small display that shows the temperature of the diode inside the case. This can be placed by whichever component you choose. The display is covered by a plastic cover to protect it.
The side panel is similarly well styled and the middle section is raised out with lots of vents all over it to encourage a decent airflow into the case. Moreover, there is another temperature display for another diode inside.
The opposite side is a lot plainer and simply white with a smaller vent at the top comprised of a series of holes.
The final external panel is the back which is very similar to most cases. It features a top-mounted PSU, motherboard plate slot, 2 x 80mm grills and 7 PCI brackets.
