The 690 II Advanced has a 5 part cooling system, and comes with 3 140mm fans already mounted in the case ready to be plugged in. The fans nearly make up for the inherent size of the case, which some users may find needs some added cooling to keep their system temperature low.

The chassis itself is quite huge, leaving plenty of space for routing cables appropriately.

The all black interior contributes to keeping the case cool (and as my editor keeps saying, it looks cool too.).

Keeping in theme with being a tool-less case, the external bays are a lever-action affair. Slot your drive in and pull the lever into the “closed” position. Want your drive back? Pull the lever to the “open” position and retrieve it.

The HDD bays also have a tool-less installation, but I’ll get to that later.
