Youtube Launches Animation Tool

Youtube has taken an interesting turn in their video hosting journey by releasing an early beta of a simple animation tool, allowing users to not only film themselves doing nonsensical stuff, but now they can animate it too.

The first two tools they have made available for use are Goanimate and Xtranormal Movie Maker which allow for animations to be made using images and text; its basic stuff but could prove interesting. The other tool now ready to go is Stupeflix, which allows users to create a video slideshow featuring photos, video clips and music. Apparently this can create quite impressive adverts for products; which isn’t exactly something people are too fond of on youtube and other video sharing sites, but ah well.

Youtube has also said that they will bundle more video editing and creating software into the browser experience in the future, making it a more interactive experience.
