Scrolls game will use Minecraft Release Plan
Mojang productions, the company behind the development of Minecraft, has announced that their next title, Scrolls, will utilise the same early release schedule as Minecraft. That means the game will be released to the public in early alpha with frequent updates bringing it to a complete product long after it is technically available.
There isn’t much information on what the next game will as it stands, but Mojang have released some concept art for the game that shows some basic details.
Mojang has also said that they plan to offer smaller developers the option for the company to publish their games; they certainly have the money after selling over 2 million copies of minecraft for nearly £10 a piece.
