Radeon 4890 Pictured

The first pictures of the hotly anticipated Radeon 4890 card have surfaced and to Fudzilla's surprise, the pictures are in focus. This "new" card doesn't have much to offer in terms of changes, as really it's just a superclocked version of the 4870 card. There's no die shrink, or added memory, but it does have some minor changes to the PCB to handle the extra power necessary for the card. The GPU is clocked at 850MHz, which is 100MHz more then the standard 4870.

The memory is clocked at 975GHZ, and comes in a 1GB flavour of GDDR5.
