The Anniversary re-release of the original Halo is already drawing plenty of interest, but its likely to increase now that Microsoft have announced support for the Kinect peripheral will be added, somehow bringing motion controlling to the iconic first person shooter.
Phil Spencer confirmed it with Gamespot while discussing the revamp, though he did say that the Kinect actions wouldn’t interrupt the main action of the game, or being entirely necessary. Perhaps it will involve throwing a grenade or an action less important perhaps?
Kinect support is Microsoft’s real flagship system which they will continue to push; perhaps onto games that don’t need this. Still, if its optional, at least people that don’t want it can turn it off.
