Gaming Alliance Formed to Save PC Gaming

Four of the bigger names in the PC hardware world are said to be teaming up to form a fellowship at the Games Development Conference 2008. Those companies are Microsoft, AMD, nVidia and Intel. This move is said to be a reaction to the transition of many hardcore PC gamers to the relatively hassle free gaming platform that is the console market.

Although the simple multiplayer options and lower cash layout is a plus point for consoles, PC gaming is obviously still holding strong with titles like World of Warcraft holding 10,000,000 regular gamers alone.
