MSI & Pioneer

MSI was another stand I did a whistlestop tour of, checking out some of their fancy looking gaming laptops.

They had a lot of notebooks on display too, but gaming was definately something they were moving into more. In discussion with one of the reps I was told they’d soon be releasing a Fermi mobile enabled notebook.

Rich is the man I wanted to meet there having taken a few snaps with him over the years; here’s another one to add to the collection.

Pioneer had a funky little hidden room with DJ equipment, a TV and some cool looking canvas prints on the walls.

They also had a couple of fancy pimped cars with impressive audio equipment.

Outdoor Zone

The outdoor zone now had people using it and many were whizzing around the indoor track on motorised skateboards…

Game Zone

The game zone was now packed also, with young and old checking out Alienware’s gear.

The Xboxes and PS3s had plenty of players. I actually checked out the new 3D enabled version of Batman AA, but they were utilising the old red and blue lenses. It looked quite cool, but had colour tinting… so why would you use that over nVidia’s stereoscopic?

One of the highlights of the Game Zone was a champion Guitar Hero player shredding through Through the Fire and Flames and hitting 99% of the notes. He didn’t quite100% it. Ha.

Scan Overclocking Challenge

Scan had some overclocking with NO2 going on with a world reknowned overclocker… who’s name I’ve forgotten. I didn’t see him break any records, but he did have an i5 chip up at at 6.1Ghz, so not bad.

VW had a stand showing off their BlueMotion vehicles. It makes my car look like crap emission wise. Boo.

Kingston had some Ram in sandpits… they gave me a squeezy statue too. Nice.
