MSI X38 Diamond Preview

With the X38 range of motherboards beginning to hit the market, the previews are coming thick and fast. I managed to get hold of MSI's first X38 board; the Diamond. This is a pre-release model with some changes still to be made but it gives us a rough idea of what it will look like; got some BIOS pictures too.

MSI P6N-Diamond

In the past Nvidia have produced some of the best enthusiast chipsets around, most notably perhaps their nForce 4 for the old AMD 939 systems. Still, times have changed now and for quite a while Intel's 965P and 975P based motherboards were the way to go with LGA 775 systems. However, in recent times Nvidia have clawed their way back in with their feature packed 680i boards and we have finally got our hands on one. The MSI P6N-Diamond which promises great overclocking, a chock load of features and excellent cooling to boot, let's see if this all rings true.

Over the last few years, the name Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel has become synonymous with gaming prowess. In the same way ABIT’s line of motherboards under the same name have themselves become synonymous with being the powerhouses of gamers computers the world over. Today I have managed to get my mitts on the Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLI, lets see how well it lives up to its reputation.
