Just Mobile claim their AluCharge is the slimmest USB charger in the world, providing four USB ports of fast charging power in a body just 1.8 centimetres thick. Let’s take a closer look in this brief review.Design
They weren’t kidding — the AluCharge is dwarfed even by the velcro-tied cloverleaf power cable that comes in the box. The body of the AluCharge is made of aluminium (go figure), with the leading edge made out of black plastic.
This face contains the four USB ports mentioned earlier, each of which provides up to 2.4A of power. The box itself can provide 6.1A (31W) in total, so you won’t be able to reach maximum [...]
The Oittm Charging Stand is an aluminium-wrapped plastic cylinder, nine centimetres across and eleven centimetres tall. The top of the stand has a small square hole, to which one of three charging adapters can be fitted to suit your device.
On the front of the device, there are three further USB ports. Each port delivers 5V / 2.4A, up to a maximum of 6A for the whole device. No fast charging technologies are included however. That means you can recharge smartphones and tablets in addition to the Apple Watch, but you won’t be able to take advantage of Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 or Oppo’s Super VOOC charging.

Here’s something cool: a laptop bag with a solar panel on the front, so you can get free unlimited charging for all your gadgets. Normally we tend to review the most popular smartphones and tablets; gadgets that most people have heard of or are anticipating. Today we’re doing something a little different – we’re reviewing a little-known phone from a brand that’s just beginning to break into the west. The brand is Smartisan, and the phone is the jianguo, or Nut. At £100 it’s one of the cheapest smartphones on the market, yet it comes with a large 5.5” screen, powerful hardware and a colourful design. It sounds very promising, so let’s take a closer look.
Today we’re looking at the Woof 3, a Bluetooth speaker from Creative Labs. The speaker is more feature-rich than most, thanks to its ability to play MP3 files directly from microSD cards as well as streaming music over Bluetooth. The Woof 3 is good looking too, with a chrome top and coloured body. Let’s take a closer look, and see whether it justifies its £40 price point.
