Introduction

Xclio have one mission in life: Make high quality cooling equipment to the best of their abilities. They have a huge range of cases made for gamers and tech enthusiasts alike, and the Touch 767 is one of the most recent additions to their Full Tower range.

The Touch 767 and Touch 787 are Xclio’s latest case design, a far mark away from the design of their almost iconic A380 tower. It’s all set up for water cooling and there’s enough spare fan slots that anybody who can invest in this case is looking at some serious cooling power.

Introduction

Xilence is a company that focuses on high-end, silent computer components. Their product portfolio ranges from RAM and HDD-coolers up to high-end cases. You’ll be seeing a bunch of reviews on Xilence products coming your way in the coming weeks, but I thought it would be nice to start you off with a case that can hold tremendous amounts of watercooling, or even a separate mITX-system!

This is the Xilence Interceptor Pro. The biggest and ‘bestest’ of the Xilence cases. Big brother of the Interceptor and Black Hornet. Are you ready?

What does Xilence tell us about the Interceptor Pro?

The Interceptor PRO from Xilence represents an HPTX case of the very best quality. Its modular construction gives you the choice: You can decide if you would like to build a high end model with an extreme cooling system, or whether you would like to set up a space for both, your home media server and high end gaming system.

Introduction

Today we’ve got a full tower chassis from Enermax called the Spinerex. They’re a fairly well respected company, so I expect great things from this case. As a full tower, I’ll be looking to ensure that it can contain a hearty helping of computing goodness, as well as the normal things like build quality, materials used and cleverness of design.

Let’s get right into it, after you cast your eyes down this lovely set of features and specifications.

Features

SpineRex – King-size Tower
Majestic Full Tower with much space for high-performance components and with a first-class cooling system.

Spectacular Two-colour Vegas Light Show
Leading Enermax LED technology creates unique effects and unmatched intensity. Two integrated 12cm Vegas front fans and one 25cm side LED fan. Two colours (blue/red) and up to 13 LED modes (only front fans) to choose from. One light switch on the side and two buttons behind the front columns to change light effects and colours.

Advanced Cooling System
Up to 6 fans: Powerful 25cm monster side fan and two 12cm front fans pre-installed. Two 12/14cm top fans and one 12cm rear fan can be installed optionally.

Customised Cooling
Manual speed control knob to adjust the speed of the built-in 25cm monster side fan seamlessly (600~900 RPM).

High-speed Data Transfer
Up to 5 Gb/sec. with easy accessible USB 3.0 interface on the top of the case. Additionally three USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA interface and HD/AC’97 audio ports.

Modular & Flexible HDD Installation
Two modular 4-in-3 HDD cages to accommodate up to 8 HDD offer quick access and easy installation. The HDD cages can be mounted flexibly. Each occupies three 5.25“ drive bays.

Quick & Comfortable System Assembling
Flip-open front columns and smart-release bay covers, rails for quick ODD and HDD installation, mainboard tray with cutout for comfortable CPU cooler mounting, thumb screws for add-on cards and side panels.

No more tangled cables
Cut-outs and clips for a comfortable and clean cable routing.

Bottom mounted PSU
Easier cable routing and optimized case cooling thanks to the stack effect. The rising warm air can be dissipated by the help of the top case fans and adjustable air vents. The case supports both PSU mounting orientations with fan downwards and upwards. Easy cleanable dust filter at the bottom and vibration-damping rubber stands.

High-end Graphics Power
Support of most current high-end graphics cards with up to 310mm length or up to 337mm length without using corresponding HDD bays.

Passive Cooling
Robust steel mesh front and steel mesh side window with easy cleanable dust filters provide unrestricted air circulation and an excellent passive cooling. Adjustable air vents on the top side.

Water Cooling
Four openings with rubber grommets at the backside for liquid cooling systems.

Top Device Tray
To store HDD enclosures, MP3/MP4 players or other devices and PC accessories.

Introduction

NZXT have been a big player in the desktop chassis game for many years now. With humble beginnings as providers of stylish cases with less practical capabilities, today they offer a wide range of options for the PC gamer and enthusiast.

Today we’re looking at the Tempest 210, an enclosure that NZXT claims provides high levels of cooling. Indeed their whole spiel about the product is focued on how hot a gamer’s room can be. So you’d expect something a bit special if that was the focus right? Let’s take a look.
