Gadget Show Live 2010 Press Morning
Before things really got started at the Gadget Show Live on the 7th, the XSR team were lucky enough to visit the Press Morning which allowed us to wander around and checkout the stands and exhibits before Joe public showed up. This gave us a great chance to scout out the show before really getting into it with some of the manufacturers and stand owners. So here’s a short article with some rather empty looking stands. Look out for some of our fellow journos you may recognise, and a gadget show presenter or two.
Ladies of Gadget Show Live
While it doesn’t do us much credit as tech-heads that we feel the need to showcase the female faces we see at trade shows, there’s something wonderful – and traffic gathering – about having booth babe, or “girls of…” articles, so here’s out latest one. Ladies, and (more likely) gents, may I present to you the lovely ladies of Gadget Show Live 2010.

While the press morning at the Gadget Show Live 2010 was fun, the rest of the day involved a lot more people and meant the stands were all in full swing with their displays and setups raring to go. This was when we got the bulk of out pictures taken and our hands shaken, so without further a do, here’s the rest of our Gadget Show Live 2010 coverage.
M Festival and i34
The UK isnt known for massive industry events such as CeBit, but we do hold some fairly large LAN Parties and some small scale events such as the M Festival.\n\nThis year, the M Festival and the 34th I-Series of LAN Parties were held at the massive Stoneleigh Park, where two halls were being used (one for I34 and one for the M Festival). Altogether, there were over 2500 Gamers battling it out in various games (the UKs largest ever LAN) and some of the top leading brands such as Cooler Master and MSI showcasing new products.\n\n2 weeks ago myself and Clickshot were sent along by the absent Whoopty to see what this was all about, here’s our thoughts on this auspicious event.
When Whoopty Met Coolermaster
Today was an interesting day. Not only did I get to check out some of the latest products from one of our fine sponsors, but I also got to meet the two members of the UK Pr arm of Coolermaster, Mingkei and Marloes.
Channel Expo: Day 1
While the UK might not have anything like CeBIT or Computex in terms of scale, we do have one reasonable show to call our own, Channel Expo. Retailers and manufacturers from around the country, and some from Europe, gather in one place to show off their latest wares and in their eyes, hopefully leave with some more exposure and some extra pennies. Needless to say, XSR made an appearance and we met some great people and checked out some cool products.
